For far too long, painting with rollers at height has been an issue of safety.
Successfully locating paint trays and scuttles close at hand is difficult because they come in so many shapes and sizes. This situation is not helped by the huge selection of ladder and step designs available on the market - so all in all, it is a bit of a hit and miss affair!
At SHIELLD Innovations Ltd, we specialise in improving common working practices and hence, are firmly driven by the need to improve, as much as possible, the safety aspect of each application we investigate.
It was this factor and some lateral thinking that led us to re-consider the practice of painting at height - system FREEHAND evolved.
What makes FREEHAND so special?

No - this is actually a new and unique concept - putting the paint where you need it - close to you and your work.
Look at the special tools now available
A belt mounted quick-release holsta - designed to accept all the FREEHAND accessories such as mini / maxi rolla-coatas or the uni2 can-grip or hook insert.
Simply clip the accessory onto the holsta and move freely, with both hands free.
This is so important for ladder, step-ladder and scaffolding ascent.
Then there is the mount-E - a totally innovative bracket that simply clips itself to objects such as ladders, step-ladders, doors, window frames, stair balustrades and spindles, chairs and scaffolding. Again this device accepts all FREEHAND accessories - just like the holsta!
